The Ravens have made by far their biggest move of the past few offseasons by signing Elvis Dumervil, but in the NFL there is no time to dwell on success. It is already time to move on and continue to restock the football cupboards. Michael Huff may well become the next Raven, but the attention of the front office is now squarely on the NFL draft which is now just 1 month and 1 day away. That month is going to be gone before you know it.

Am I the only one that has a sneaking suspicion the Ravens might be looking to trade up this year? they have a ton of draft picks and only three major needs, it would seem that if there was ever a year to do it, now would be the time. What if a player like Lane Johnson were to start to slide to somewhere around 17 or so. Would that be tempting enough to make a huge move to go get him? What about Alec Ogletree sliding to the 23-25 range? Kenny Vaccaro hitting 20 might be the most intriguing and realistic of them all. As with anything in the draft, the Ravens wont trade up just for the sake of trading up. It will only happen if the price is right for the player they are going to get. but in this draft, that player could very well exist and be available.

It is time to turn your attention to the draft, what are the Ravens going to do?
