The first shot of the 2013 draft has officially been fired. The Chiefs have bucked traditional big school thinking and taken the small school product Eric Fisher. With the first player off the board, the jags are now unofficially on the clock and the rmor mill continues to churn out information at an astronomical rate.
Word on the street is that the Raiders are desperately wanting out of the third pick, but they are prepared to take DJ Hayden, the CB from Houston, if they can’t. This is a shocker because Hayden wasn’t even mentioned as a first rounder until about 2 weeks ago. The ide he could go from a mid second rounder to top 3 pick in lest than 20 days is incredible. That said, Hayden is a really really good corner, probably the most complete corner in the class if you trust his heart is completely healed and not likely to relapse.
The Browns are a favorite to jump to 3 to go get Barkevious Mingo who has seen his stock take a big bump the past 2 days. The Bills are desperately trying to get out of the top 10, the Jets are trying to go down. as is about half of the top 15. The rest are trying to move up, this is a very very strange draft.
