Last night the Ravens were incredibly patient, waiting pick after pick and passing up several opportunities to trade up and they were rewarded with a pick they clearly coveted(my personal feelings aside). There was a definite feeling that the Ravens brass did not think Elam was going to last until 32, but they played their board and they waited for him to make it and he did. I get the sense that they expected Dallas to take him. I expect the Ravens to be much more active tonight.

There are a ton of good prospects in rounds 2 and 3. The good GMs always make their money in these rounds, but his year that will be even more so the case than usual. These rounds are insanely deep, maybe the deepest in years. The general sense in league circles, is that GMs want as many day 2 picks as they can get. My prediction for tonight is that the Ravens will be moving around and using some of their 11 remaining picks to acquire a 3rd selection tonight. I expect them to use 1 2nd rounder and 2 3rd rounders. I also think there is a very good chance they end up trading up in the 2nd round. I have said all along that the Ravens dont have room for 12 rookies on their roster, so i expect them to move a few of those picks. I think they end up with 9-10 total picks.

I think the Ravens will leave the night with a WR, a linebacker and an offensive lineman. they could also look at corner or safety and dont be shocked if they take a QB in the third round.
