The Ravens made their first move of the day and, as I predicted, trade up in the second round. They used the pick on hyper instinctive Kansas St. Linebacker Arthur Brown.

Brown is a pretty solid addition and fills a gigantic hole on the Ravens defense, aside from LT, this was the biggest hole the Ravens had and Brown is a day one starter. Brown is also a big time leader. He isnt Ray Lewis(as a leader), but for the sake of Arthur Brown I would tell all Ravens fans to not compare him to Lewis too much. it isnt fair to do so.

Brown brings a lot of speed to the table and he has the ability to cover TEs and slot receivers in the open field. He is a very good tackler, if he gets his hands on someone, they go down. The biggest knock on Brown is that he is a little small, but the NFL is getting smaller and faster at the linebacker spot. Brown fits that new wave of defense perfectly.

They trade their 2nd 5th and 6th round picks to move up. They now have 10 total picks with 8 remaining to be used.

This is a pretty solid pick. The Ravens pick again at 94(unless they trade), Keenan Allen, Damontre Moore, Terron Armstead and many other good players are still on the board. Dont be surprised if the Ravens trade up again.
