With thei compensatory pick in the 4th round the Ravens have finally addressed their offense and selected Kyle Juszczyk, the fullback from Harvard. The most interesting thing is that KJ was announced as a TE not a fullback. It is very possible that the Ravens project him there instead of at FB.

This could also be the writing on the wall for Vonta Leach. Leach is making quite a bit of money this year and the Ravens are likely to move away from using a FB as much as they did under Cam Cameron. Jim Caldwell significantly cut into Vonta leachs’ play time and when Leach was on the field, he saw a lot more time going out as a pass catcher or a runner. KJ is probably a better receiver day one than Leach is. That said, he isnt anywhere near the blocking talent that Leach is(very very few players are).

The Ravens are headed into the 5th round with 5 picks gone and 5 left to go. They have gone defense 4 times and their only offensive player is a FB. The Ravens front office is sending a very clear message about how they think their team is, and it say they believe in the offense and Flacco. I would expect them to nab a WR in the next round. they dont pick again until their compensatory pick in the 5th round, as I write that pick is still about 35 picks away.
