With the 203rd pick in the NFL draft, a compensatory pick, The Baltimore Ravens have selected Ryan Jensen, a tackle from Colorado State-Pueblo.

I am not ashamed to admit that i know little to nothing about this kid, but from what i can gather right off the spot is that he has some positional flexibility. He played LT in college and most people seem to project him as a guard or a center. This could be the Ravens move to add some center depth behind presumed starter Gino Gradkowski.

Jensen Stands 6’3″ 317 lbs, which would be enormous for a center, especially in a no huddle offense that the Ravens will likely run this year. I have trouble seeing how that type of player fits unless he is a superb athlete. Again, I am not sure about that, i will post more information as I know it.

The Ravens have two more picks remaining today and I will be covering both of them. The NFL Network is also about to have an interview with John Harbaugh so stay tuned for my coverage of that as well. With 8 picks down, the Ravens are doing quite well for themselves. I still seriously expect a WR in the final round, possibly a corner as well. Jordan Poyer and Da’Rick Rogers both remain on the board and both carry high round grades.
