Today, we saw quarterbacks and rookies report to Ravens training camp day 1.  It was a hot day that provided several great sound bytes in the post practice press conference featuring Joe Flacco, C.J. Mosley, and John Harbaugh.

Flacco told the media that he is feeling more and more comfortable in the offense.  He said that the biggest differences between schemes boils down to language and formations, but the physical part of the game is the same.  Flacco has remained confident through the process that he can grasp the changes.

Flacco also had praise for C.J. Mosley, who has continued to impress everyone with his offseason.

Mosley sounded confident and posed as well. He is definitely an intelligent guy who seems like a natural behind the mic and had no problems answering media questions.

Harbaugh came on last, and provided us with some great updates on important situations. Harbs revealed that he hasn’t heard anything new on the Ray Rice situation, but mentioned that it is really out of their hands and that the league doesn’t care about public opinion on the matter.

Asked about the Jimmy Smith situation, Harbaugh basically brushed it off.

Harbaugh was also asked if he had spoken with the players about discipline, and he indicated that he has addressed it.

The best news comes on the injury front, as Bernard Pierce is a full go for training camp, as expected, as is Jah Reid. Pierce is also around 7 pounds lighter this season vs. last.

Harbaugh has no timetable on the return of Terrence Cody, who was recently placed on PUP, but sounded confident in his progress.

See you tomorrow for the first (official) day of training camp!
