Cornerback Aaron Ross tore his achille’s tendon during a conditioning test at the Raven’s first official day of training camp.  John Harbaugh revealed the injury during his post practice press conference.  The injury is likely season ending and may also threaten to end the career of the 32 year old.

Ross was brought in prior to mandatory minicamp to compete with a number of other players for the third cornerback spot.  Fellow signee Dominique Franks was unable to practice because he hasn’t yet passed his conditioning test.

John Harbaugh told reporters that the team wasn’t necessarily looking to sign another cornerback, but wouldn’t rule it out either.
