Baltimore Ravens Projected Final 53 Player Roster

Wide receivers: Torrey Smith, Steve Smith, Marlon Brown, Jacoby Jones, Kamar Aiken, Michael Campanaro

The wide receiver race may be the toughest competition on the team, and it is going to be a hard day at Raven’s HQ when final cuts are made.  The team has perhaps never seen so much competition at a spot they were desperate for bodies at last season.  The only thing we know for sure is that T. Smith, S. Smith, Brown, and Jones are locks.

Some are predicting Campanaro will get cut, but again, we don’t see the Ravens cutting ties with a draft pick that quickly. It’s true he has battled an injury during camp, but he has looked very impressive when healthy.  Camp has a lot of upside as a slot receiver and returner, so they shouldn’t throw in the towel on him this early.  Kamar Aiken has pretty much willed his way onto the roster unless his play completely falls off the next couple of weeks.  The team is likely hoping they can sneak Jeremy Butler on the practice squad after his strong play in camp.
