Ravens vs. Cowboys Grades: The Day After In Review

The Ravens 37-30 win over the Cowboys Saturday night definitely wasn’t as decisive as their 23-3 victory over the 49ers last weekend, and it wasn’t just the score that indicates the difference.  The Ravens just flat out didn’t play as well on either side of the ball, but did have some high points.  The offense sputtered out of the gate, but pulled things together after the first couple of series and started to produce.

Luckily, by the time the offense finally took the field, the Ravens were already up 14-7 thanks to a defensive score by Courtney Upshaw and a 108 yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Deonte Thompson.  The Ravens also benefited from Tony Romo and Dez Bryant’s exit after the Cowboy’s second offensive series, as the team had no answer for either.

The good news is, this is the preseason and coaches have plenty of tape to watch and learn from.  And, they still squeaked out a win in spite of their struggles.  Click on to see our grades for each unit based on their performance last night.
