Dunta Robinson
Robinson, 31, played the slot for an impressive Kansas City Chiefs defense last season but didn’t rack up a ton of stats and couldn’t win the nickel back job. He was exposed by T.Y. Hilton in the playoffs and just wasn’t worth his $3.2 million base salary. Prior to last season, however, Robinson was expected to start and was a solid presence in the back end of the Falcon’s defense.
Robinson’s cover skills may be deteriorating with age, but he is still effective in run support. He even graded out as the 4th best corner against the run in 2012’s Pro Football Focus ratings. He is also a solid tackler who is best served in a reserve or specialist role. The Ravens could do worse, for sure.
Who do you think the Ravens should sign?
