Can Keith Wenning save himself?

Keith Wenning played sparingly in game one against the 49ers, and then turned in a horrible performance against the Cowboys last week.  While it once seemed like the Ravens might be forced to carry three quarterbacks this season, or that Wenning might beat out Tyrod Taylor for the backup job, those thoughts have quickly disappeared.  Now, it seems like Wenning is just fighting to keep his roster spot.

Wenning may not even get much of a chance to prove himself Saturday night against the Redskins if Joe Flacco plays into the second half.  And at this point, the Ravens might be better off playing Taylor instead.  If they want to sneak Wenning onto the practice squad without another team snatching him off waivers, they would be better off if he continues to play poorly or not at all.
