“Juice Check” was talked up by coaches coming into minicamp, and now we know that it wasn’t just coachspeak. The freakishly athletic fullback has been given new life by Gary Kubiak’s offense, and through three preseason games he actually leads the Ravens in receiving. Who would’ve guessed that would happen?
Juszczyk has struggled a bit as a lead blocker in the run game, but he projects to get better with time. Meanwhile, he continues to provide a reliable safety valve for Joe Flacco, as he added another 5 catches for 53 yards against the Redskins. Don’t forget, the young fullback played very little in his rookie season and still has a ton of room to grow.
