Can any of the reserve offensive linemen block?
Pass protection was a serious problem against the Redskins Saturday night with both the first and second team offensive line.
The second team has played pretty poorly throughout the preseason, which is a scary proposition if one of the starters goes down with an injury once the regular season starts.
The Saints defense has become pretty aggressive under the tutelage of defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, and we will likely see some blitzing on Thursday night.
We are hoping that at least one or two of the reserve offensive linemen can step up and pass protect, or we might start having deja vu from last season.
