2. Baltimore Ravens

Behind the Bengals, things get really murky.  You have three teams that are 1-1, so determining who is better than who can be a bit subjective.  The Browns had a big win, but the Saints have a suspect defense and aren’t the same team on the road that they are in a dome.  So for this week, we give the nod to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Ravens beat the Steelers rather easily on Thursday night, but they did it at home against a team that also has questions on defense.  The Steelers have struggled on that side of the ball through two games, but the Ravens deserve credit for executing when it counted against a team that normally plays them tough no matter what the circumstances.

The Ravens are still a question mark, but they are trending in the right direction.  Week three’s game against the Browns will be a big litmus test after Cleveland played fairly well against the Saints.  If this team is for real, we’ll find out Sunday.
