Joe Flacco returned to a full practice on Thursday after missing practice altogether on Wednesday due to an illness.  It was a big relief after Flacco gave everyone a bit of a scare.  Flacco reportedly is dealing with a bout of the flu, but should be good to go for Sunday’s road opener in Cleveland.

Also returning to practice was left tackle Eugene Monroe, who didn’t practice on Wednesday due to a knee injury.  Monroe put in a full practice on Thursday, so he was likely just getting some rest.  Defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan missed practice for the second straight day and is expected to miss up to 1-2 games following a meniscus injury in his knee.

Also putting in a full practice on Thursday were cornerbacks Lardarius Webb (back) and Asa Jackson (concussion).  Webb has stated that he will only play when the team clears him to do so, and John Harbaugh refuses to speculate on his return.  Jackson looks to be fine following his concussion last Thursday against the Steelers.

A new addition to the injury report is running back Bernard Pierce, who put in a limited session with a knee injury.  This is Pierce’s first appearance on the injury report this season, and the extent of his injury is unknown at this time.  It is also possible that the Ravens are simply managing his reps for what looks like heavy week to week use.
