Previous: 4th. San Diego Chargers. 4. team. 13. The Chargers are a team that also showed a ton of improvement under a new head coach in 2013, and they look even better in 2014. Phillip Rivers has continued his ascension back into the ranks of the elite quarterbacks and is a legitimate top 5 option this season. The offense continues to hum along and the defense has played better than expected. This is a team that could surprise in 2014.. (3-1)
