The Chargers and Phillips Rivers have continued their ascension up the ranks of AFC contenders on the back of a stronger than expected defense. Meanwhile, the Jets and Geno Smith have regressed after a strong start to the season. The Jets still featured a dominant defensive front, but have replacement level talent on the back side. Rivers should have another field day come Sunday.
