The Baltimore Ravens have the best linebacker trio in the NFL this season. That’s a bold claim, but one that can be supported by fact (Suggs, Dumervil, and McPhee are rated first, third, and fourth in the NFL, respectively, by PFF). The dynamic trio added five sacks against the Falcons to bring their season total to 16. As a team, the Ravens have 18 sacks.
Haloti Ngata has been overshadowed by the linebacker unit a bit, but make no mistake – he is having a bounce back season. Ngata did have a bit of a down game against the Falcons, but still has 2 hits, seven hurries, and five stops on the season. He is the number eight 3-4 defensive end in the NFL right now.
Mosley has cooled off a bit the last two weeks after his breakout week four performance, but he is still playing great football. He is still the number three rated 3-4 inside linebacker in the NFL and is the number one ILB against the run.
