The Ravens hit the road in week eight for their second meeting with divisional foes the Cincinnati Bengals one week after claiming first place in the AFC North.  While both teams appeared to be trending in different directions following their first meeting of the season in week one, the outcome of this game was pretty much the same – a loss.

The Ravens, who led the NFL in red zone defense coming into the game, gave up three touchdowns in five red zone trips by the Bengals.  The once mighty offense stumbled and the wide receivers couldn’t get open against a stout Bengals secondary.  To make matters worse, the Bengals offensive line won the battle in the trenches.

As we do each week, we have analyzed statistics and film of the Ravens latest game and assigned letter grades to each unit based on their performance. We also provide the insight we gained while looking beneath the surface, the kind of stuff you may not see when watching a live game.
