There is a little bit of good news on the Ravens injury front Wednesday after a whole lot of bad news came on Sunday.  Both Chris Canty and Owen Daniels returned to practice, a good sign that they are getting closer to a return.  Both are recovering from minor surgery – Daniels on his knee, Canty on his wrist.

Several players did miss practice on Wednesday, on the other hand, which the Ravens like to use as a veteran rest day. Haloti Ngata, Terrell Suggs, Marshal Yanda, and Justin Forsett did not practice.

Michael Campanaro and Jimmy Smith missed practice as well, which is expected after both left Sunday’s game with injuries and did not return.  Smith is going to be out for “a few weeks,” while Campanaro is nursing a hamstring injury.

Also missing practice was Lardarius Webb, who the Ravens are sure to be careful with in light of Jimmy Smith’s injury.  Webb missed quite a bit of time early in the season with back spasms, and figures to be on a light practice schedule going forward.
