Will Gary Kubiak Run the Ball Enough to Win Time of Possession?

There is nothing more frustrating than Gary Kubiak totally abandoning the run whenever the Ravens fall behind by one or two scores in a game.  It’s a common trend this season and it’s baffling to say the least.  In both games against the Bengals, Kubiak called more passing plays than run plays despite never trailing by more than two scores.  And the Ravens lost both games.

The best way to keep Big Ben and the Steelers offense from running up the score this week is to keep them off the field.  And the best way to do that is to effectively run the football.  Luckily, the Ravens have two good backs in Justin Forsett and Lorenzo Taliaferro, and the Steelers have the 23rd ranked run defense in the NFL.

Now somebody please pass that message on to Gary Kubiak.
