Was an accomplished college sprinter in track and a second team all Pac-10 WR and Return specialist. He once beat Carl Lewis in a 100M race at the Drake Relays. Unfortunately his speed never translated into success in the NFL as a returner and his hands proved to be unreliable as a receiver. He was relegated to decoy duty, sprinting down the field to perhaps beat coverages or to open up something underneath.
