LB: John Simon Baltimore Ravens 2013-2014

Drafted in the fourth round in 2013 Simon was a “tweener” a term used to describe a player that is between two positions. In Simon’s case he wasn’t exactly a pure defensive end or a pure outside linebacker. He was stuck on the depth chart behind players like Suggs, Dumervil, Upshaw, and McPhee. Ultimately the Ravens put him on the practice squad and the Houston Texans signed him. He has started three game with the Texans and has recorded 1.5 sacks.
