Week 13: vs. San Diego Chargers

The Chargers started out hot in 2014 and looked to be continuing their ascension as one of the best teams in football.  Phillip Rivers continued his excellent play from last season and even the defense, which was the team’s biggest question mark, played well the first five games of the season.

But after going 5-0 to start the year, the Chargers lost three straight.  Phillip Rivers was noticeably playing hurt against the Raiders last week and has been turning the ball over in alarming fashion.  In the last month and a half, their only wins have come against the winless Raiders.

Playing at home will help, but this won’t be an easy game.  Rivers has historically lit up the Ravens, and he has enough weapons at his disposal to get the job done again.  We think that the Ravens will pull this one out, however, on the strength of their defense and run game.
