Pretty much no one gave the Ravens much of a chance of handing the Saints their third straight home loss, and you can’t really blame them.  After all, this is still an explosive Saints team, playing in a very hostile environment.  And we are still trying to figure out what kind of team the Ravens really are, even after twelve weeks.

The “good” Ravens showed up on Monday Night Football and appeared rejuvenated and motivated for the stretch run.  Steve Smith was back to his old self, getting into numerous scuffles and fighting for extra yards after the catch.  Justin Forsett just gets better every week, as does Will Hill, who is paying dividends for the team that took a chance on him.

As we do each week, we have assigned letter grades to each unit based on their performance.  While we oftentimes focus on the final stats, this game is a perfect example of why it’s usually best to look at the big picture.  Here are my Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints grades for week 12.
