Highest Rated Defensive Players: Brandon Williams (4.8), Pernell McPhee (3.4), Courney Upshaw (2.9), Terrell Suggs (2.4), Daryl Smith (1.7)

Williams was absolutely dominant against the run, shutting down the red hot Mark Ingram and holding him to 27 yards rushing. Meanwhile, McPhee was terrorizing Drew Brees all night, racking up 3 QB hits and 4 hurries.  To top it off, both only played on 30 snaps (less than 50%).

Upshaw had easily his best game of the season, throwing in two hurries, two stops, and two tackles on 35 snaps.  Terrell Suggs had a sack, a hit, two hurries, and two stops in a solid all around effort.  Daryl Smith had the second most tackles (7) on the team and added three stops.
