Keep a Spy on Ryan Tannehill

One of the most underrated components of Tannehill’s game is that he is an excellent and dangerous runner in the open field.  A converted wide receiver, Tannehill has the speed to move the chains with his legs.  On the season, Tannehill has rushed 45 times for 289 yards (6.4 avg) and one touchdown.  And at 6’4″ and 220 pounds, he is a load to bring down.

The Jets did a good job of containing Tannehill, holding him to 13 yards on 4 attempts (3.3 avg).  The Ravens, who have yet to face a running quarterback this season (outside of a hobbled Cam Newton), can’t afford to give Tannehill room to run.  They can take away that element of his game by keeping a spy on him throughout the entire game.
