Welcome to the Daily Caw, where we round up all the latest Ravens news and notes from around the web for your convenience. Today we welcome the latest member of the Ravens secondary, Antoine Cason, the team is finally developing a nice group of young wide receivers, the latest power rankings, and recapping what you may have missed this week.

Ravens Developing Young Wide Receivers

The Ravens have not exactly been known as a team that develops young, raw, wide receiver talent, but that may be changing this season.  Kamar Aiken had a nice showing last week, and Michael Campanaro has flashed when healthy.  Marlon Brown has had his ups and downs, but still shows promise.

ESPN Power Rankings: Ravens in Right Spot?

The Ravens are sitting at number 12 this week, which Jamison Hensley feels is appropriate.  They are one spot ahead of the Bengals, who swept the series this year and have a half game lead over Baltimore in the AFC North.

Antoine Cason Signs With Ravens

Cason was a pretty good corner just a couple of seasons ago, but flopped with the Panthers this season after starting twelve games.  With the Ravens desperate for corner depth, it’s not a bad signing by any means, and perhaps Cason will be a better fit in Baltimore than he was in Charlotte.

What You Missed in Dolphins Game
