Increase Backup Snaps
The Ravens were a little hobbled last week in Miami, with Torrey Smith playing only 15 snaps due to a knee sprain and Justin Forsett battling injuries of his own. Luckily, Bernard Pierce and Lorenzo Taliaferro stepped up at running back, as did Kamar Aiken at wide receiver.

The Jags employ the NFL’s #28 passing defense and #28 rushing defense. Though they have had moments of greatness sporadically throughout the season, this is a bad, bad unit regardless.
The Ravens would be wise to utilize their backups this week and give Smith and Forsett some rest for the stretch run.
