Lowest Rated Defensive Players: Asa Jackson (-3.1), C.J. Mosley (-1.3), Darian Stewart (-1.3), Courtney Upshaw (-0.7), Pernell McPhee (-0.6)
“Where is Matt Elam” you say? Well, he actually graded out with a 0.1 this week. Say it ain’t so! In his place we have Darian Stewart, who made a big special teams play but also didn’t do anything on defense. Elam still got burned repeatedly to the tune of 5 catches for 43 yards on 32 snaps, in case you were wondering.
Jackson was another burn victim before succumbing to injury, surrendering 5 receptions for 74 yards on 46 snaps. Mosley picked up a sack but also gave up 5 receptions on 5 targets for 53 yards.
Upshaw played 29 snaps and posted a zero on the stat sheet. McPhee had two sacks, but nothing else, while playing 35 snaps. Hard to pick a bone with that, I know, but all’s fair.
