If you watched the game, you might have thought that the Texans had a copy of Gary Kubiak’s playbook.  I sure did.  The players obviously didn’t execute, but it seemed like they didn’t care in a game the Ravens really needed to win.  Kubiak had no answer for J.J. Watt and Joe Flacco quite simply took a beating the entire game.

Defensively, it’s hard to knock Pees.  The D did a solid job of shutting down the run and limiting the Texans to field goal after field goal despite spending too much time on the field.  The secondary showed a lot of improvement, even though you must consider the opponent.

It’s just astounding that the Ravens couldn’t come up with something, anything, at halftime to counter the Texans’ defensive dominance.  This would have been even uglier had the Texans not slipped into prevent defense late in the game.  Maybe they had a copy of that playbook after all.
