Over the last three weeks of the regular season, the Baltimore Ravens looked like a team that could barely win a meaningful game, let alone pull off a playoff upset. But that’s exactly what they did Saturday night in a place they had never won a playoff game – Pittsburgh.
Gary Kubiak took the training wheels off a struggling offense and allowed Joe Flacco to throw deep, and Cool Joe responded with a solid performance. Though the running game had trouble finding traction, the defense showed up in a huge way and limited the Steelers’ second ranked NFL offense to one touchdown while they consistently harassed Ben Roethlisberger all night.
