Welcome to the Daily Caw, where we round up all the latest Ravens news and notes from around the web.  Today we light a candle in memory of Gary Kubiak, who seems headed to the Broncos, and the Ravens are losing their replacement candidates as well.  Plus, we are looking at the future of Will Hill and Justin Forsett.

Gary Kubiak Accepts Broncos Job, Per Report

It appears that Kubiak will indeed accept the Broncos’ head coaching job, much to the chagrin of Ravens’ fans everywhere.  Kubiak is one and done in Baltimore after guiding the offense to a huge turnaround in 2014.

More from Ebony Bird

Even though fans are mad about Kubiak’s departure after he told the Ravens he was staying just a week ago, Jamison Hensley says that no one should blame him for doing so.  It is Kubiak’s dream job, after all, working with his friend John Elway.  He honestly didn’t see the job coming open before another disappointing Broncos playoff loss occurred last week, along with most of us.

Baltimore Assistant Coaches Leaving With Kubiak

What really rubs salt in the wound of Kubiak’s depature is the fact that he is taking quarterbacks coach Rick Dennison and tight ends coach Brian Pariani with him.  Another candidate, Kyle Shanahan, signed with the Falcons yesterday as well.  It’s truly back to the drawing board for the Ravens in regards to the offense.

Justin Forsett Contemplates Future

The future of Kubiak guys like Justin Forsett and Owen Daniels is up in the air as well following his departure.  Both have expressed their desire to remain in Baltimore, but we’ll have to see if that holds true now that Kubiak is gone.

Will Hill Big Part of Ravens Secondary Plans

As the Ravens prepare to improve their secondary this offseason, Will Hill’s improvement over the course of the season has them optimistic about the back half of the defense.
