This upcoming 2015 NFL season, the Ravens will open up on the road in Denver against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Remember the last time the Ravens opened their season in Denver? I remember – a score of 49-27 culminating into a very lopsided, record breaking loss for a revamped Ravens team coming fresh off of a Super Bowl win.
It hurt. It was the beginning of a missed-playoff season for the 1st time in 5 years and it continued a trend of Super Bowl winners not winning a playoff game the following season.
The caveat to that season was the roster. With the departure of Ray Lewis, several free agency losses at key positions, and a very unfavorable trade of a very favorable player, it was definitely a matter of the right talent being in the wrong place for the Ravens in 2013.
Over the last several weeks, I’ve been introducing to you some of the best players at each position group. Now, we take a look at an exact line-up of your top players in Ravens history. Feast your eyes on what I believe to be the ultimate Baltimore Ravens lineup.

Now that is a Super Bowl winning team! Andre Johnson of the Indianapolis Colts went on record a few weeks ago stating that an all-University of Miami Pro Team would win a Super Bowl. Though I am a University of Miami fan, Mr. Johnson, I beg to differ. If your All-Pro University of Miami team had to play my all-star, all-time, best of the best Baltimore Ravens team drafted here, I don’t think they would stand a chance.
And this is only from the 1st 20 seasons. As you can imagine, the best is probably yet to come.
