As an UDFA in 2013, Brown was an afterthought going into training camp. However, as he played more and more, he showed glimpses of his immense potential. With terrific size and good explosiveness, Brown showed what kind of weapon he could become.

The Ravens had a terrible WR corps in 2013, and Brown was given a chance to receive a lot of playing time. He capitalized on it, catching 49 passes for 524 yards and 7 touchdowns. He was seen as a long-term option at WR for the team.

However, Brown’s second season did not turn out so great. He struggled to repeat his production from his rookie year, catching only 24 passes and 0 touchdowns. Going into this offseason, Brown was expected to make a comeback.

Instead, Brown has been virtually invisible in both training camp and the preseason. At this point, he is only on the roster because of his success in his rookie year. He has not shown anything since then, but the team still hopes that he can be that same player.

In order for Brown to stay on the team, he has to step up this season and show that he can be the guy the Ravens thought he could be.
