Prediction: 281 Passing Yards, 1 TDs, 1 INT, 8 Rushing Yards
It’s the popular thing to do to – blame the quarterback when a team is suffering, and praise him when the team is soaring. But in this case, Joe Flacco shouldn’t take full blame for the Ravens woes here.
Flacco lacks depth at the receiver position and his safety blanket is Steve Smith Sr. (whom we’ll get to in a few). Even with this lack of depth, Flacco ranks 15th in the league in yards per game, and for what it’s worth, he’s ranked higher in this same category than fan favorites Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson. All whom have better depth than the Flacco and Ravens at the receiver position.
The Arizona Cardinals give up the 6th fewest points to opposing QBs. But Joe Cool is up for the job.
Next: Start or Sit - Steve Smith, Sr.
