Figure out a way to slow down stellar sophomore wide receivers Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns
Amazingly, few football fans outside of Jacksonville and the fantasy football community know the names Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns.
Yet this dynamic duo of second year wide receivers are the first teammates to have at least 600 yards receiving and six touchdowns through eight games since the New England Patriots’ Randy Moss and Wes Welker did it in 2007.
Talk about some impressive company, from one of the most prolific offenses of all time. Robinson has led the way with 707 yards, while Hurns has amassed 635 yards. Both have six touchdowns on the season.
It’s truly hard to imagine how the Ravens, with their 29th ranked pass defense, are going to slow these guys down. Especially since the great Darrelle Revis, one of the best corners in the game, let Robinson go off for 122 yards and a touchdown just last week.
The only good news is that Hurns is looking a little iffy for Sunday after suffering a foot injury. His absence would at least give the Ravens one less guy to worry about.
