The Baltimore Ravens have the sixth pick in the 2016 NFL draft. The Ravens may be able to draft an elite wide receiver with the pick, or perhaps the best cornerback in the draft. Which ever direction the Ravens take this is a rare chance to get a superstar in the NFL Draft.

There are three good uses of the number six selection that fit the Ravens needs. Let’s take a quick look at each of these options:

Option 1: Laquon Treadwell, WR Ole Miss

The Ravens would be wise to draft Treadwell if he is still on the board. Treadwell in my opinion is the biggest superstar in this draft class. Treadwell has the heart of Steve Smith Sr., the frame of Julio Jones and the freakish ability of Odell Beckham.

The Ravens have never given Joe Flacco a young top-tier wide receiver and this is their chance to give him two young superstars. If Breshad Perriman can get on the field and play his best, and the Ravens draft Treadwell, Flacco will have it made.

This season Treadwell recorded 82 receptions for 1,153 yards and 11 touchdowns. Treadwell is a big bodied receiver with speed and the ability to catch anything.

Option 2: Jalen Ramsey CB, FSU

Jalen Ramsey is a phenomenal cornerback who could potentially play free safety. He is speed demon with a ball skills. He has a lean and tall 6’1″ frame.

The Ravens secondary is surely one of the Ravens priorities. Ramsey is a safe pick because he has the talent to be succesful in the NFL. Ladarius Webb isn’t going to last forever and it may be time to look at replacing him with a young superstar. Ramsey is a playmaker on the field and he can shut down a receiver in man coverage.

Ramsey’s versatility and athletic ability should intrigue the Ravens. He could be the answer to the woes in the back end of the defense.

Option 3: Laremy Tunsil OT Ole Miss

Laremy Tunsil certainly looks the part. The left tackle is 6’5″ 305 pounds. I always like tackles from SEC teams because of the competition they have faced. If you’re a star left tackle at Ole Miss you should be able to be okay in the NFL. The Ravens however may be reluctant to draft another Ole Miss tackle since Michael Oher did not live up to expectations. That said Tunsil is a good looking athlete with quick feet.

The Ravens need at left tackle could be pretty dire if the deem that Eugene Monroe is not the answer. Also if the Ravens lose Kelechi Osemele to free agency, the Ravens will have no choice but to address the offensive line. Tunsil is a safe pick.
