The most talented player in this draft is quite possibly Laquon Treadwell. Treadwell is a wide receiver from Ole Miss. He has a thick 6’2″ frame and the ability to make the circus catch. Treadwell may become the next sensation in the NFL and the Baltimore Ravens will have a chance to select him, with the 6th overall pick.

In three years with the Rebels, Treadwell had 202 receptions for 2,393 yards. He averaged 11.8 yards per reception, as a do it all kind of receiver. This superstar receiver had 21 touchdown receptions, 11 of them came in the 2015 season. Treadwell has a wow factor.

Why He Is Perfect For The Ravens: 

Treadwell is the perfect option for the Ravens. The Ravens had very little help at the wide receiver position this season. Kamar Aiken has stepped into the role of the Ravens no. 1 receiver and it isn’t a knock on him when I say that shouldn’t be his role. The absence of Steve Smith (who went on injured reserve after the Chargers game) showed us that we need help at the wide receiver position.

Treadwell would be the perfect answer for the Ravens receiving woes. For the first time in Joe Flacco’s career he would have a youthfully elite receiver. The Ravens drafted Breshad Perriman last season and he did not play a down. It is understandable that Ravens fans would be hesitant getting another first round receiver.

Here’s the thing, you can never have too much talent at the receiving positions. In theory Treadwell and Perriman would make an amazing combo. It would be reminiscent of when the Eagles had DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin. Not having to lean on Smith Sr. in an almost abusive way would be a nice change.

There is no player more suited to make an instant impact than Treadwell. If he is available with the sixth pick, the Ravens must draft him. Treadwell is a type of special wide receiver that the Ravens have never had.
