QB. Cal. Jared Goff. 2. player. 53. This is not a Chris Schisler endorsement of Jared Goff. This is an acknowledgment that the most Cleveland Browns thing to do is to take a quarterback in round one. Johnny Manziel worked out about as well as a car with no wheels. He just couldn’t stay on the road to success. The Browns need a quarterback to make a decent roster a potential winning team. I am not sold on Goff. He was inconsistent at Cal. He threw too many interceptions and was a poor performer against good teams. Goff though has arm talent. He looks the part and he makes some incredible throws look easy. The Browns may draft Goff early because they feel like they have no other choice.
