4th & 2

What is about the Ravens games against the Chargers? They either seem to be the best games in Ravens history or the worst. It is kind of strange. But we go to another great moment for the Ravens in San Diego. It was 4th & 2 for the Chargers offense with the game on the line. Ray Lewis bolted through the line of scrimmage as soon as the ball was snapped. At the second Darren Sproles took the hand off, Lewis delivered the most bone crushing hit possibly of all time.

The instincts on display on this given play were incredible. Lewis knew what was going to happen and he bet the game on it. He was right and that is the kind of play that makes him the greatest linebacker of all time. Lewis was like a freight train on that snap of the football. It was possibly the greatest defensive play I have ever seen, and that is saying something as I have grown up a Ravens fan.

I don’t think you could find a better way to end a game. That is except for the next play on the list. The best Ravens play of all time happened in the greatest Ravens game of all time.
