4. Ray Lewis Steals Ball From Eddie George

The pass was over the middle of the field. Ray Lewis broke on the route of Titans running back, Eddie George. It looked like George was going to catch the ball and take off running but Lewis had other ideas. As the pass came in for George, Lewis stole the football, knocking George to the ground. Lewis ran the interception back for a touchdown. The Titans were supposed to role past the Ravens, but Ray Lewis willed his team to victory. That play sealed the Titans fate, the Ravens were going to the AFC Championship game.

The Ravens won the game 24-10 in what is one of the most important games in Ravens history. The Ravens also got a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown in this game that I considered putting on the list. Anthony Mitchell’s 90 yard score was one of two incredible plays in this game. The Lewis interception was the dagger that secured the victory. It was possibly the defining moment of the Ravens franchise.

It is one of those plays that you can watch over and over. Each time you see this play, the thought of “How did he do that,” pops up. It was an incredible play by the most incredible player in Ravens history.
