4. Jermaine Kearse (Seahawks)

Kearse isn’t a number one receiver. He isn’t a superstar but he is perhaps one of the most intriguing playmakers available. Kearse had 49 receptions for 685 yards and 5 touchdowns last season. Kearse is a player who can come in and contribute without breaking the bank for the Ravens.

Steve Smith had 46 receptions in a season shortened by injury and he was the second leading receiver on the Ravens. The Ravens had a handful of receivers contribute last season. Kamar Aiken showed he is a viable weapon with 75 receptions, 944 yards and 5 touchdowns. But Kearse is an upgrade from Jeremy Butler. He is better than Marlon Brown. He is better than Daniel Brown and Chris Givens. The point is he is an upgrade to what the Ravens have behind Smith Sr. and Aiken.

Kearse has some speed and in the open field he is awfully hard to catch. It would be hard to oppose the Ravens bringing in Kearse even if there are better options available. This seems like it is a good fit and the Ravens may be able to get him at a good price.
