4. Eric Weddle

The Ravens have a crowd at the safety position but they still could use an upgrade. Eric Weddle could come in and lead the Ravens secondary. He is a quick defensive back, with a wealth of experience and a high football IQ. Weddle has ball skills that can turn defense into offense and he is capable of being the quarterback of your secondary. This would be a big move that would make the Ravens better.

The Case For Eric Weddle

The Ravens pass defense has been utterly disappointing in the past couple of seasons. I for one am growing weary from all the huge plays by A.J. Green that seemingly cost the Ravens the game every time they play the Bengals. The Ravens secondary needs talent and Weddle is as good a defensive back as there is on the open market.

This move could be on the more expensive side. Though with the Ravens drive to create cap space, we have to wonder if bringing in Weddle was part of their plan. Weddle is surely on the radar one way or another.
