3. Rueben Randle

I have always been a big fan of Rueben Randle. I have also made the case that the Ravens should sign the speedy wide receiver. Randle is a good receiver and he has been a productive player. The Giants problem with Randle always was that they were expecting more. With Randle happiness is based on expectations. Randle is a guy who can make big plays down the field. Randle is a guy who can have big games but he isn’t a number one receiver. If you put him in the right role and you let him play to his strengths, he is a player that behooves the team.

Rueben Randle is An Underrated Option

Randle had 57 receptions for 797 yards and eight touchdowns last season. In 2014 Randle had a career year, with 71 receptions and 931 yards. He may not be a dominant receiver but when he is on, it is hard to slow him down. The Ravens don’t need a dominant receiver. They need somebody with speed to give them a vertical threat down the field. Randle and Joe Flacco’s rocket arm are a perfect pairing.

The Ravens should really consider adding Randle to their roster. At the end of the day he may be the steal of free agency. Randle is entering his fifth season in the NFL. He has untapped potential. The Ravens may find a way to get the most out of Randle.
