19. A’Shawn Robinson, DT (Alabama)

I think A’Shawn Robinson is going to be a very solid defensive tackle. He has the explosiveness to rush the passer and stuff the run. He isn’t a game changing talent, but he is a very good football player. Robinson had nine sacks in three seasons with Alabama. He also recorded 22 tackles for a loss.

Robinson would fit right in on the Ravens 3-4 defense. As a defensive end in a 3-4 front, Robinson could play to his strengths. He could fill gaps and take up blockers. Robinson will just keep getting better and better. The physical tool set is there.

Robinson has a ton of potential but he isn’t a finished product. He may take some time to develop, but he is going to be a very good run stuffer in the NFL. Alabama defensive prospects are always on my radar because they are well coached and talented.
