23. Devontae Booker

Devontae Booker is one of those players we stayed up late on the East Coast for. He’s just fun to watch. The Utah Ute rushed for 2,773 yards in the past two seasons. He averaged five yards per carry and scored 21 touchdowns on the ground. He also played a pivotal role as a receiving threat out of the backfield. He had 80 receptions for 622 yards and two touchdowns in those two seasons.

Booker is a shifty runner who is hard to catch. He isn’t afraid of contact. He is hard to bring down and he has the best balance of any running back I’ve ever seen in college. He has some Barry Sanders in him. He’ll run 40 yards to gain 10 sometimes. He can always make something out of nothing. He also has some Marshawn Lynch in him; Booker goes beast mode on a regular basis.

Booker probably won’t be taken until the second round. He is one of the most underrated players in this entire draft class. He was a dazzling star at Utah.
