The first round of the 2016 NFL draft came into shape over the past week with two massive trades. The Rams traded six draft picks to the Tennessee Titans for the number one overall pick in hopes to land a franchise quarterback and buy Les Snead and Jeff Fisher a couple more years of 7-9 mediocrity before they are inevitably fired. Rumors vary from reporter to reporter, but either Jared Goff from Cal and Carson Wentz from North Dakota State will be the QB to lead the Rams back to Los Angeles.

Howie Roseman, continuing his bid to erase the foul stench of Chip Kelly from the Eagles organization, traded up to presumably pick the Rams leftovers. Roseman spent a large portion of the Eagles salary cap on the quarterback position already this offseason resigning Sam Bradford to a two year, $35 million contract and Chase Daniel for 3 years at $21 million. Daniel backed up Alex Smith in Kansas City where new coach Doug Peterson served as offensive coordinator.

These big moves at the top of the board practically guarantee the Raven’s draft another early strong pick.  NFL.com only rates four players above a 7 grade or above (which suggests pro bowl to all-pro talent), and by the way, none of the four guys are quarterbacks. This allows the Ravens to snag one of the top graded talents on the board with the sixth pick. But, who do they target in round two? Here’s my Top 5.
