1. Andrew Billings, NT Baylor

Andrew Billings was the 2015 Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year as he led Baylor in sacks (5.5) and tackles for a loss (15). Billings also earned All-American honors from ESPN, Athlon, and the AP. In 2014, his 37 tackles including 11.5 for a loss earned him a consensus All-Big 12 selection. At 6’1″, he is shorter than most at his position, but he makes up for it with raw power. In high school, he broke the power-lifting record by lifting a combined 2010 pounds (805 squat, 500 bench press, 705 dead lift).

While in high school, Billings was a standout as an offensive lineman and is still learning his position. While impressing many with his power, he lacks the technique of more experienced defensive lineman. He is also young as he just turned 21 years old in March.

Realistically, it is a stretch to have Billings on this list. The Green Bay Packers should grab him in the first round to replace recently retired B.J. Raji, but in reading mock drafts, Billings seems to be a polarizing player. Many mock drafts list him in the top 20 picks while others have him falling out of the first round. If the latter is even possible, the Ravens can grab him as a replacement for Haloti Ngata, only a year too late.
